The subpages in a wiki are pages, which are highly related to the respective parent pages, and contain an automatic back-link to the parent, placed right under the subpage name. Subpages are created just like normal pages, with only one requirement in the naming:

  • if the parent page is called Namespace:Pagename
  • then the child page (subpage) is called Namespace:Pagename/Subpagename

Subpages can be made in every namespace, except Image: and Category:. Subpages are especially useful for the templates, talk pages (archival purposes) and to enlarge the User: namespace (which is generally restricted to only one page per user).

Every page can have as many subpages, as necessary, both in width and in depth. The page and its subpages form a tree structure. The downward navigation in this tree is facilitated by the link "Subpages" in the toolbox menu in the left side of your screen. The upward navigation is facilitated by the links to the parent nodes, placed right under the subpage's title.

For instance, see article Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and the list of its subpages. Then check the sub-subpage Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets/01/1. Pay attention to the links under the title, reading: Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets | 01.
