Abstract: In this paper we discuss some properties of intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces, introduced by Jin Han Park in the article titled "Intuitionistic fuzzy metric spaces", we prove that the topology induced by any (complete) intuitionistic fuzzy metric space is (completely) metrizable and show that every separable intuitionistic fuzzy metric space is compact if and only if it is precompact and complete.
