The project participants will conduct seminars and learning courses within the project scope and the achievements, aiming to make familiar the rest team members with their specific field of research, their competences and knowledge. The seminars will be widely announced and will be open to scientists from various backgrounds and end users of the developed methods, algorithms and applications.

- 4 — 9 January 2010: PhD course on Generalized nets and Intuitionistic fuzzy sets
-
- Course materials: PDF (1340 Kb, File info)
- From 4 to 9 January 2010 the project leader Prof. Krassimir Atanassov from CBME, conducted a 60-hour lecture course on Intuitionistic fuzzy sets (4-6 January) and Generalized nets (7-9 January), that was attended by seven PhD students from the partnering organizations and an outside listener from the Technical University of Sofia. The course was also announced via the BAS Training Centre website.
- Seminars of this kind have been organized annually since 1997, but now it was the first time to include a demonstration of the actual state of the software application for GN model simulation, with respect to its forthcoming completion and exploitation. The learning materials from the seminar were produced as an electronic learning content, that was delivered among the audience. This is the first time when these lectures are recorded and their content may serve as a base of future reuse and upgrade. In fact, such a material in Bulgarian for the area of Generalized nets has been done for first since 1992, while it has no precedents in the area of Intuitionistic fuzzy sets.
- 9 February 2010: Seminar on the topic "Ant colony method for combinatorial optimization"
- On 9 February 2010, 11 AM in the Conference room of CBME, Assoc. Prof. Stefka Fidanova from IPP will conduct a two-hour seminar devoted to the combinatorial optimization using ant colony optimization methods. The seminar has been announced in the ModProFix project proposal as one of the series of in-house seminars for the project members, but it will be made open to other interested listeners, as well as via the BAS Bulletin.
