Abstract: The notion of intuitionistic fuzzy approximation space is introduced. Rough sets on such spaces are defined and some of their properties are studied.
Keywords: Rough sets, intuitionistic fuzzy approximation space, intuitionistic fuzzy proximity relation, (α,β)-discernible, (α,β)-rough, and (α, β)-similar.
AMS Classification: 03E72.
