Beloslav Riečan

Presentation of Beloslav Riečan at the IWIFSGN'2008

Beloslav Riečan (11 November 1936 – 14 August 2018) was professor in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Matej Bel University, where he is teaching Mathematical analysis.

His primary research interests were in the areas of Fuzzy set theory and Quantum logic and Quantum structures. His secondary research interests were in the field of Ordered structures, Dynamical systems and ergodic theory, Probability theory and Integration theory.

Prof. Riečan was president of Union of Slovak Mathematicians and Physicists, president of Slovak Association of Club of Rome. He was member of the editorial board of some scientific journals, among which Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets, Mathematica Slovaca and Developments in Fuzzy Sets, Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets, Generalized Nets and Related Topics.
