Abstract: In a series of research papers, the authors have studied some of the most important Generalized Net (GN) models of various situations. This paper is based on the case study of producing course timetable for a particular department in a college. The main focus is to analyse the process of preparing department timetable by using GNs as a tool. For this purpose, an algorithm has been developed using Visual Basic programming language.
Keywords: Generalized nets, Course timetable.
