In this paper, we propose the new distance measures on interval-valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets of Second Type and the application of interval-valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets of Second Type in Pattern Recognition by using normalized hamming distance measure and compare the result with the existing IVIFS.
