Abstract: In 2021, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Prof. Lotfi Zadeh. On this occasion, in this short note, I will share memories from my brief meetings with one of the few persons whose endless enthusiasm, hard work, purposefulness and capacity to innovate I have always admired.
