Abstract: The main objectives of this paper are to use intuitionistic fuzzy information to characterize handwritten Arabic words for recognition, using an extract of the IFN/ENIT data set and to compare them with an intuitionistic fuzzy similarity measure.
Keywords: Fuzzy set, Intuitionistic fuzzy set, Intuitionistic fuzzy similarity measure, Word recognition
