Fuzzy Sets and Systems is an international journal in information science and engineering, official publication of the International Fuzzy Systems Association. It is devoted to the advancement of the theory and applications of fuzzy sets and systems.

The journal was launched in 1978, with founding editor Hans-Jürgen Zimmermann (1978-1998), followed by Henri Prade (1998-2006). Presently, the co-editors-in-chief are Bernard De Baets and Didier Dubois. The inventor of fuzzy sets, Professor Lotfi Zadeh is a honorary editor of the journal.

The journal is published by Elsevier under ISSN 0165-0114.
