Abstract: In this paper an approach to define convergence of sequences of intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) numbers is presented. The definitions proposed in this work are intended to retain the principal properties of the corresponding operations over sequences of real numbers. Some basic properties of convergent sequences are studied and proved.
