For the definition, I think it would be better if the intuitionistic fuzzy set is denoted by <math>A^{*}</math> or <math> \hat{A}</math> to stress that this set, though it depends on <math> A </math>, is different from it. Then it may be stated that in order to avoid cumbersome notation we will further use simply <math> A </math> when referring IFS. --[[User:Peter Vassilev|Peter Vassilev]], 10:52, 8 November 2008 (UTC) | |||

For the definition
For the definition, I think it would be better if the intuitionistic fuzzy set is denoted by [math]\displaystyle{ A^{*} }[/math] or [math]\displaystyle{ \hat{A} }[/math] to stress that this set, though it depends on [math]\displaystyle{ A }[/math], is different from it. Then it may be stated that in order to avoid cumbersome notation we will further use simply [math]\displaystyle{ A }[/math] when referring IFS. --Peter Vassilev, 10:52, 8 November 2008 (UTC)
