'''Kankana Chakrabarty''' is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Science and Technology, University of New England, Australia. She received her Ph.D degree from Indian Institute of Technology, India.

== Research ==
Her research interest lies in the areas of [[fuzzy sets]], [[intuitionistic fuzzy sets]], [[bags]], and [[rough sets]]. She has introduced the concepts of ''Bags with Interval Counts'' and ''Fuzzy IC-Bags''. Kankana Chakrabarty has published a number of research articles and has been acting as a referee for a number of international journals.
