 | abstract        = This paper presents two new concepts within the framework of intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS). An implication deviation is introduced, formulated using the implication operator together with a universal quantifier in the framework of intuitionistic fuzzy set. In addition to being a crucial analytical tool, this measure emphasizes its theoretical significance in the study of intuitionistic fuzzy sets by making it easier to define basic notions like inclusion and similarity. In addition, the paper introduces two new entropy measures, referred to as the α-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy and the β-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy, to quantify uncertainty of intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The α-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy evaluates uncertainty in terms of the deviation from the extreme situations of complete inclusion and complete exclusion. In contrast, the β-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy reflects maximum uncertainty when degrees of membership and non-membership are balanced or when the degree of hesitancy is maximal, while minimum entropy corresponds to the case, when complete inclusion or exclusion is there. Both entropy measures are constructed using the Hamming distance to ensure a consistent and intuitive representation of uncertainty.&lt;br /&gt;

 | abstract        = This paper presents two new concepts within the framework of intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS). An implication deviation is introduced, formulated using the implication operator together with a universal quantifier in the framework of intuitionistic fuzzy set. In addition to being a crucial analytical tool, this measure emphasizes its theoretical significance in the study of intuitionistic fuzzy sets by making it easier to define basic notions like inclusion and similarity. In addition, the paper introduces two new entropy measures, referred to as the α-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy and the β-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy, to quantify uncertainty of intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The α-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy evaluates uncertainty in terms of the deviation from the extreme situations of complete inclusion and complete exclusion. In contrast, the β-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy reflects maximum uncertainty when degrees of membership and non-membership are balanced or when the degree of hesitancy is maximal, while minimum entropy corresponds to the case, when complete inclusion or exclusion is there. Both entropy measures are constructed using the Hamming distance to ensure a consistent and intuitive representation of uncertainty.&lt;br /&gt;

 | abstract        = This paper presents two new concepts within the framework of intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS). An implication deviation is introduced, formulated using the implication operator together with a universal quantifier in the framework of intuitionistic fuzzy set. In addition to being a crucial analytical tool, this measure emphasizes its theoretical significance in the study of intuitionistic fuzzy sets by making it easier to define basic notions like inclusion and similarity. In addition, the paper introduces two new entropy measures, referred to as the α-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy and the β-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy, to quantify uncertainty of intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The α-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy evaluates uncertainty in terms of the deviation from the extreme situations of complete inclusion and complete exclusion. In contrast, the β-intuitionistic fuzzy entropy reflects maximum uncertainty when degrees of membership and non-membership are balanced or when the degree of hesitancy is maximal, while minimum entropy corresponds to the case, when complete inclusion or exclusion is there. Both entropy measures are constructed using the Hamming distance to ensure a consistent and intuitive representation of uncertainty.&lt;br /&gt;

The aim of the annual [[International Conference on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets]] (ICIFS) is to gather specialists interested in [[intuitionistic fuzziness]], decision making under uncertainty, and other topics related to intuitionistic fuzzy sets and logics, and to give them floor for discussions on both theoretical and practical aspects. Since 2013, ICIFS has been an [[EUSFLAT]] endorsed event. &lt;br /&gt;

All papers accepted for presentation at ICIFS&#039;2026 will be published in the &#039;&#039;&#039;Scopus indexed Journal &amp;quot;[[Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets]]&amp;quot; (SJR 2024 = 0.258, Scopus quartile Q3)&#039;&#039;&#039; and will be freely available online as Open Access under CC-BY 4.0 license.&lt;br /&gt;

Submissions should be up to 25 pages and &#039;&#039;&#039;compliant with the paper template&#039;&#039;&#039; of the Journal &amp;quot;[[Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets]]&amp;quot; and the [[Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets/Policy|Journal&#039;s Publication Ethics Policy]]. Manuscripts will be subject to rigorous peer review by two independent reviewers.&lt;br /&gt;

Presentations should be 15 minutes with 5 minutes for questions and answers. Links to the Zoom platform for online videoconferencing will be timely provided to the authors of the accepted conference submissions, who opt for online presentation. Presenters are &#039;&#039;&#039;requested to give their talk in real time&#039;&#039;&#039;, but prepare and submit in advance &#039;&#039;&#039;a back-up video of their presentation&#039;&#039;&#039; which will be streamed in case of any technical problems at the time of their presentation.&lt;br /&gt;

The aim of the annual [[International Conference on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets]] (ICIFS) is to gather specialists interested in [[intuitionistic fuzziness]], decision making under uncertainty, and other topics related to intuitionistic fuzzy sets and logics, and to give them floor for discussions on both theoretical and practical aspects. Created in 1983 in Bulgaria by Prof. [[Krassimir Atanassov]], the area of intuitionistic fuzzy sets has gained worldwide popularity and today it is being investigated by many international research groups from universities and research centres in Australia, Belgium, China, Greece, India, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, and other countries. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The journal is one of the three official issues of the Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (see http://biomed.bas.bg/bg/journals/). It is published by the &amp;quot;Prof. Marin Drinov&amp;quot; Publishing House of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences under &#039;&#039;&#039;Print ISSN 1310-4926, e-ISSN 2367-8283&#039;&#039;&#039; and &#039;&#039;&#039;DOI 10.7546/nifs&#039;&#039;&#039; (as of 2018). &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Since 1997, the Journal has been hosting the proceedings of the [[International Conference on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets]], organized on annual basis in Sofia or Burgas, Bulgaria. Since 2005, it has also included the proceedings of the [[International Workshop on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets]], annually conducted in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia.&lt;br /&gt;

All papers and conference reports in &amp;quot;Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets&amp;quot; pass through a rigorous process of review before being accepted for publication. The editorial board of the journal is international with representatives from Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, United Kingdom, USA, who are renowned specialists in the area of fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy sets and logics. For acceptance for publication, two positive single blind peer reviews are required by independent reviewers. Strict ethical publication policy applies to all journal editors, reviewers and authors.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Papers will only be considered if the content is substantially new, original material which has not been published elsewhere, has not been submitted concurrently elsewhere, nor is likely to be published substantially in the same form elsewhere. NNTDM reserves the right to conduct a preliminary screening (triage) of the manuscripts and desk reject without further peer review any submissions that are out of the thematic scope of the Journal, not formatted in accordance with the Journal’s templates and requirements, or feature content below the level of a scientific journal.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Authors are welcome to suggest two or three names of potential reviewers with their Scopus profiles and email addresses. Please note that these potential reviewers shall not share the same affiliation and country of residence with any of the coauthors of the submitted manuscript. Further, a Scopus h-index of at least 5 is required. However, NNTDM reserves the right to invite for reviewers other specialists than those proposed.&lt;br /&gt;

In recent months, the number of submitted manuscripts has grown significantly, creating a workload that exceeds the current capacity of our dedicated team of volunteer editors and peer reviewers. High-quality peer review—an essential element of our Journal’s integrity—requires time, care, and the availability of qualified experts. To safeguard the rigor and quality of our editorial process and maintain our status of a non-commercial, academic-owned journal, we have chosen to pause new submissions while we focus on the thorough review and production of manuscripts already under consideration.&lt;br /&gt;

Having started in 1995, Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets is the first and one of the leading scientific journals, exclusively publishing research in this field of science, as defined by the strict journal&#039;s scope and Editorial policy. Created in 1983 in Bulgaria by Prof. [[Krassimir Atanassov]], the area of intuitionistic fuzzy sets has gained worldwide popularity and today it is being investigated by many international research groups from universities and research centres in Australia, Belgium, China, Greece, India, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, and other countries. &lt;br /&gt;

The journal is one of the three official issues of the Institute of Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (see http://biomed.bas.bg/bg/journals/). It is published by the &amp;quot;Prof. Marin Drinov&amp;quot; Publishing House of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences under &#039;&#039;&#039;Print ISSN 1310-4926, e-ISSN 2367-8283&#039;&#039;&#039; and &#039;&#039;&#039;DOI 10.7546/nifs&#039;&#039;&#039; (as of 2018). &lt;br /&gt;

Since 1997, the Journal has been hosting the proceedings of the [[International Conference on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets]], organized on annual basis in Sofia or Burgas, Bulgaria. Since 2005, it has also included the proceedings of the [[International Workshop on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets]], annually conducted in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia.&lt;br /&gt;

The editorial board of the journal is international with representatives from Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, United Kingdom, USA, who are renowned specialists in the area of fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy sets and logics. For acceptance for publication, two positive single blind peer reviews are required by independent reviewers. Strict ethical publication policy applies to all journal editors, reviewers and authors.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Papers will only be considered if the content is substantially new, original material which has not been published elsewhere, has not been submitted concurrently elsewhere, nor is likely to be published substantially in the same form elsewhere. NNTDM reserves the right to conduct a preliminary screening (triage) of the manuscripts and desk reject without further peer review any submissions that are out of the thematic scope of the Journal, not formatted in accordance with the Journal’s templates and requirements, or feature content below the level of a scientific journal.&lt;br /&gt;

Authors are welcome to suggest two or three names of potential reviewers with their Scopus profiles and email addresses. Please note that these potential reviewers shall not share the same affiliation and country of residence with any of the coauthors of the submitted manuscript. Further, a Scopus h-index of at least 5 is required. However, NNTDM reserves the right to invite for reviewers other specialists than those proposed.&lt;br /&gt;

The aim of the annual [[International Conference on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets]] (ICIFS) is to gather specialists interested in [[intuitionistic fuzziness]], decision making under uncertainty, and other topics related to intuitionistic fuzzy sets and logics, and to give them floor for discussions on both theoretical and practical aspects. Since 2013, ICIFS has been an [[EUSFLAT]] endorsed event. &lt;br /&gt;

Submissions should be up to 25 pages and &#039;&#039;&#039;compliant with the paper template&#039;&#039;&#039; of the Journal &amp;quot;[[Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets]]&amp;quot; and the [[Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets/Policy|Journal&#039;s Publication Ethics Policy]]. Manuscripts will be subject to rigorous peer review by two independent reviewers.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Presentations should be 15 minutes with 5 minutes for questions and answers. Links to the Zoom platform for online videoconferencing will be timely provided to the authors of the accepted conference submissions, who opt for online presentation. Presenters are &#039;&#039;&#039;requested to give their talk in real time&#039;&#039;&#039;, but prepare and submit in advance &#039;&#039;&#039;a back-up video of their presentation&#039;&#039;&#039; which will be streamed in case of any technical problems at the time of their presentation.&lt;br /&gt;
