Abstract: The apparatus of Generalized Nets (GN) and Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets (IFS) are here applied to a description of an advisory system for on-line control of yeast fed-batch cultivation. The advisory system and its GN realization appear as an expert system, comprising knowledge of well-trained operators of cultivation processes. Intuitionistic fuzzy logic is also implemented in the developed GN model in order to reflect the degree of uncertainty which is typical for measurements of biochemical variables. Developed GN model of the advisory system, with implemented intuitionistic fuzzy logic, is here applied for a fed-batch cultivation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
