Presentation of Beloslav Riečan at the IWIFSGN'2008

Beloslav Riečan (born 11 November 1936) is professor in the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Matej Bel University, where he is teaching Mathematical analysis.

His primary research interests are in the areas of Fuzzy set theory and Quantum logic and Quantum structures. His secondary research interests are in the field of Ordered structures, Dynamical systems and ergodic theory, Probability theory and Integration theory.

Prof. Riečan is president of Union of Slovak Mathematicians and Physicists, president of Slovak Association of Club of Rome. He is member of the editorial board of some scientific journals, among which Notes on Intuitionistic Fuzzy Sets and Mathematica Slovaca.
